Pricing

Transparent, straightforward information about the cost of therapy — because figuring out if you can afford it shouldn’t be harder than it needs to be.

Investing in therapy is one of the most practical decisions you can make — not because it’s easy or cheap, but because the alternative is carrying the same patterns, the same anxiety, the same stuck feeling for another year. The work we do together has real, lasting effects on your daily life, your relationships, and your sense of self.

That said, cost is a real consideration, and I want to make it as clear as possible what to expect.

Individual Therapy

Free 15-minute phone consultation for therapy clients

A no-commitment call to get to know each other and make sure we're a good fit before scheduling a full session.

  • $150
    Therapy sessions (55 minutes)

Insurance

I am currently in-network with the following insurance plans:

  • Aetna
  • Ascension SmartHealth
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)
  • Carelon Behavioral Health
  • Cigna
  • Quest Behavioral Health

If you have one of these plans, your out-of-pocket cost will depend on your specific copay or deductible. Contact your insurer directly to confirm your benefits before your first session.

Out-Of-Network Benefits

If your insurance plan isn’t listed above, I can provide a Superbill — an itemized receipt with all the information your insurer needs to process an out-of-network reimbursement claim. You submit it directly to your insurance company, and they reimburse you according to your plan’s out-of-network benefits. Not all plans offer this, so it’s worth checking before your first session.

FSA & HSA accepted

If you have a Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account, you can use those funds to cover therapy sessions. This is a meaningful affordability option for many clients — especially those on a parent’s insurance plan or navigating coverage for the first time.

Social Work Consultation

$60 — Consultation session (30 minutes)

Professional consultation for social workers building their careers, developing their clinical identity, or preparing to launch a private practice. Separate from individual therapy — for clinicians, not therapy clients.

Cancellation Policy

I ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are charged the full session fee. I know life happens — if something comes up, just reach out as soon as you can.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before starting services. As a self-pay or uninsured client, you can request a written estimate of the cost of your care at any time. For questions about your Good Faith Estimate, please reach out directly.

Yes — FSA and HSA cards are accepted.

I don't currently offer sliding scale pricing. If cost is a concern, I'm happy to talk through your insurance options during the free consultation.

The $150 session is individual therapy for clients seeking personal mental health support. The $60 consultation is a professional service for social workers, not a therapy session. They serve completely different purposes and different audiences.
